Health Centered Osteopathy
My Vision is to support the Osteopathic community to work with
The Health to treat the body as a whole
Merging With The Health Series
What and Why I am Sharing what I have to share.
I feel guided to share what has been given to me.
I have learnt to trust The Health, rely on its consistency, its depth, its trustworthiness. Aligned to The Health, healing occurs. I am still learning and asking The Health for help in difficult treatments.
I am not offering a cheat sheet, but a working template to heal consistently at a high level.
It can feel hard and difficult to stay the course with The Health being front and centre. For me there is no other option.
From the confirmatory, supportive feedback that I have been given from patients, friends, osteopaths when I have told them that I intend sharing my knowledge, I know that I am on a path that is aligned with The Health.
I have a very deep knowing that what I have to share is important and is needed now more than ever.

The MERGING WITH THE HEALTH series offered are intended so that practitioners can become competent and confident working with The Health.
Ultimately practitioners will have enough tools and a deep enough relationship with The Health to keep growing/practising without any need for reference to other on their own path.

About Dr Sean Gleeson
I came across osteopathy after fruitlessly searching widely for treatment of health issues as a teenager. The wholistic approach of osteopathy to restore normal function made sense to me. This was confirmed in osteopathic training with experiencing/learning/using primary respiration which restored normal function effectively.
I have an extremely successful solo practice and particularly enjoy paediatrics, pre and post natal patients, as well as treating those for whom allopathic options have been exhausted.
Passionate about Osteopathy, I have again begun teaching knowing that this is being supported and encouraged by the Universe/Tide.
My dream for Osteopathy is that all Osteopaths be confident in their ability and capacity to work with The Health, each other and the community to bring healing to themselves, their communities and the world at large.
I give deep heartfelt thanks to Osteopathic elders past and present.
Teachers whom have been influential and for whom I am specifically thankful to/for include, Dr James Jealous who first and foremost normalised the practise of Osteopathy for me amongst many other gems. Dr Viola Frymann, for being such a straight and knowledgeable teacher. Dr Bill Johnson for the concept of using thoracic respiration to diagnose via the induced fascial drag as well as assessment and treatment of embryological segments. Dr Bill Foley for confirming what I had thought possible in teaching. Dr Werner Van Camp who besides the healing provided, greatly clarified aspects of thoracic and primary respiration for me, Dr Steven Porter for such clarity of awareness of primary respiration and his approach to acute discal presentations.
Osteopaths I would also like to acknowledge are those who assisted my journey, the teachers at RMIT, Dr Stephen Sexton, Dr Miranda Cox (“oh my god Sean you have to go to do Jim Jealous’ course- you and he talk the same crazy stuff!”), Dr Dale Wilson, the USA biobasics crew, Dr Manuela da Rin, Dr Scott Baxter and Dr Michelle Sherriff.
There are many other osteopaths with whom I have had connection with and assistance from, I give thanks to/for them also.
Personal History
My early years were predominantly spent in south western Victoria, wandering paddocks and playing next to as well as fishing or swimming in the local rivers and ocean.
I now live and work at the edge of Warrnambool on a small property, surrounded by dogs, a cat, sheep, chickens, geese, guinea fowl, trees, native birds, koalas, possums and occasional kangaroo.
I has dedicated my life to healing and greatly enjoy working from such a natural and nurturing space.
The person whom I gives most thanks for is my amazing wife, Mary.
